How to contribute?

First way to contribute the nasheedify project is by submitting poem lyrics. It not only makes it easier for analysis, but also brings a good foundation for possible future contribution such as translations of the poems.

To submit lyrics directly - you first have to sign up an account and log in.
Then you go to she song of your choice by clicking its name on the playlist - it will take you to the song's page where (if logged in) you will see the "Submit lyrics" button.

After clicking on that button the lyrics submit form will be displayed:

As far as basic lyrics submition; that is all - there is nothing more you have to do - just click the green Submit button and wait for admin to approve your lyrics.
If you're the first person submitting the lyrics for a given song, your nickname will be displayed on the song page above the lyrics as the lyrcis submitter

If you'd like to take it a step further - there's something more you can do - which is adding timestamps for dynamic lyrics feature. Here's the easiest way of how to do that:

1. Prepare lyrics text with each song line seperated (just like on the picture above)
2. Choose "Seperate lines" mode
3. Paste the lyrics and click "Add whole text as seperate lines"
4. Play the song and click "Add now" button whenever the line begins in the song
5. Play the song again scroll to "Lyrics preview" to check if the timestamp perfectly matches with the moment it is played in the song
6. Click the Submit button and wait for admin's approval

That's about it when it comes to lyrics submission.
